Queen Academy Leadership Society

Queen Academy Leadership Society is one of two signature programs of Longview Queens United, designed to cultivate confident, compassionate, and capable young women. Within this supportive sisterhood, girls are provided a safe and empowering space to strengthen their leadership and interpersonal skills, discover their voice, and grow in character.

Through mentorship from accomplished women in leadership, meaningful community service, and intentional leadership development, members are encouraged to lead with integrity, purpose, and excellence. Queen Academy equips young women not only to succeed personally but to uplift their schools, families, and communities.

At its heart, Queen Academy is more than a program — it is a sisterhood committed to growth, service, and the development of tomorrow’s leaders.

Thriving Kings Brotherhood

Thriving Kings Brotherhood is the second signature program of Longview Queens United, originally developed in partnership with Thrive Longview to cultivate leadership among young men in our community. Now is solely a Queens United program.

This initiative brings together identified male student leaders and connects them with strong, principled men who are committed to guiding the next generation. Through mentorship, leadership development, and intentional fellowship, participants strengthen their character, sharpen their skills, and expand their network of support.

Thriving Kings Brotherhood provides a space where young men are encouraged to think critically, lead with integrity, and grow with confidence. Within this brotherhood, they are challenged, nurtured, and equipped alongside safe and invested men from our community who model accountability, wisdom, and purpose.

Together, we are developing leaders who will positively impact their schools, families, and the future of Longview.

Keep It Cute

One of Queens United’s key initiatives is our “Keep It Cute!” Program that aims to tackle the inequality and stigma associated with periods, ensuring every woman and girl has the resources they need to manage their menstruation with dignity and without discomfort or fear. We have been addressing period poverty for over six years providing period products and education for girls and women in Texas, Mississippi, and North Carolina.

Annual Queens United Conference

This fun, interactive conference is designed to empower, equip, and build a positive atmosphere for women of all ages. We have a track for young ladies, ages 12 to 18, and another for adults to grow through. Each year we collaborate with other dynamic organizations to host sessions, present fashion, and entertainment, and most of all provide a safe space for the spirit sisterhood to thrive.

Desserts & Skirts Networking Social Fundraising Event

Is our annual networking social where women collaborate & network while raising funds for the programming of Longview Queens United.

Queen Time

This event is typically a partnership with Freedom Yoga where hardworking women leaders in our community are honored with a space to stop, release, and recharge.

The Exhale

This brunch series is where women busy on a mission connect for a moment to unwind. There is no set agenda just beautiful company, free-flowing conversation, and delicious food and refreshments. The goal is to build community and establish a safe space for women on the move to unwind
