Meet Our CEO
Alicia M. Johnson
Hello and welcome!
I am a proud Longview native, devoted wife to the amazing Michael Johnson, Jr., and mother to three wonderfully handsome sons — Michael, Garrison, and Eyan. My family is the center of my world and one of my greatest sources of inspiration in the work I do.
I am a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Radio and Television and my Master’s degree in Social Work. Over the years, I have been blessed with opportunities to serve in many different roles that have shaped my heart for people and community. My professional journey has included serving as a Clinical Director at a behavioral hospital, Social Services Director, Youth Minister, Radio Personality, English Teacher, Mentor Program Coordinator, and School Social Worker.
Each of these experiences has allowed me to connect with incredible individuals and deepen my commitment to empowering others.
Beyond my professional life, I am passionate about community service and leadership. I am honored to serve as a member of the Junior League of Longview and am a proud working member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. I also enjoy speaking, writing, singing, and creating spaces where people can grow, heal, and discover their purpose.
Transparency is important to me because I want people to know they are not alone. My journey has not been without challenges. I have overcome struggles with anorexia, bulimia, low self-esteem, depression, identity loss, grief, and abuse. These experiences shaped my perspective and strengthened my desire to help others uncover the greatness within themselves.
I consider myself a continual work in progress, but I am grateful to be healthy enough to dedicate my life to encouraging others to pursue healing, growth, and the life they were created to live.
My commitment to service is deeply inspired by the legacy of my late father, Gary Lee Stoker, and my beautiful mother, Rita Stoker, who instilled in me the values of humility, excellence, and faith. They laid the foundation of my relationship with Christ and guided me into adulthood with a deep understanding that any goodness in me is not my own.
It is simply the result of God’s grace and mercy.
Without Jesus, I would be a mess.
But with Him, I have a message.
And that message is one of hope, healing, collaboration, and purpose — the very foundation upon which Longview Queens United was built.
